Electrical System Consisted of 3 GT Generators 2 DG Sets and 2 feeders from State Electricity grid. The SCADA system monitors these power sources and also monitors the loads. A maximum demand measurement and control scheme implemented in the SCADA software to minimise MD changes being paid to the State Electricity Board.

Custmized software program provides guidelines for load shedding as an early warning system. Automatic load shedding, though feasible is overridden considering complexity of the manufacturing process in a fertiliser plant.

The hardware transducers and RTU's are indegeniously developed. The SCADA software runs on a Personal Computer and is connected to RTU through dedicated copper wire link.
